Not because of a lack of ability, but because of physical and mental stress factors unique to their bodies. It is a well-known fact that the female body, including the female heart, is substantially different from that of men. Despite this, health care is still largely focused on the male body, so the specific needs of women are often overlooked.

In the Kick-off of Head, Heart & Hormones, Dr. Janneke Wittekoek will take you through specific examples from her career and what else to expect from this two-week program.
